Project Overview
Developed a comprehensive manufacturing operations platform to streamline production workflows, workforce coordination, and vendor management for a wholesale bag manufacturing business. The solution digitizes material tracking, inventory movement, financial processes, and operational reporting through a centralized system. It also includes secure collaboration tools, QR-based asset tracking, planning utilities, and learning resources for workforce onboarding. Several business-specific workflows were custom-built to meet the client's unique operational requirements while ensuring scalability and efficiency.
The Challenge
A Thailand-based business running dual operations — wholesale trading of daily goods and bag manufacturing — was managing everything through Excel spreadsheets and the LINE messaging app. Stock tracking was error-prone, and the manufacturing side was complex: hiring stitchers, tracking hourly rates, measuring efficiency, managing promotions, assigning machines, and processing employee loans — all done manually.
Our Solution
We built a comprehensive backend system on Odoo to manage the full manufacturing lifecycle. A custom mobile app was developed for internal staff to assign stock to stitchers, receive finished and semi-finished goods, manage inventory across multiple locations, and handle scrap material — all in real time from the factory floor.
